POV: you read this carousel and now you're staring POV: you read this carousel and now you're staring at your own sales page like it personally betrayed you. 🫠

I see it on dozens of sales pages every year — the same 6 gaps, every single time. None of them fancy, yet all of them killing sales while biz owners blame the algorithm, the niche, mercury retrograde, etc.

The greatest hits:

🚫 Headlines that read like Instagram bios ("Your favorite copywriter")
🚫 Three thousand words of pitch with one lonely buy button at the bottom
🚫 A "Kind Words" section so far down the page nobody scrolls to it
🚫 An offer description so vague it could be selling literally anything

The good news: this isn't a "burn it down and start over" situation. Every gap is a one-afternoon fix. Write a stronger headline. Move your testimonials. Drop in more CTAs. Use bullet points like a person who wants to be read.

(Future you, watching conversions tick up next launch? She says thanks.)

Save this for your next audit. Send it to that one friend whose sales page needs a little TLC.

I'm about to save you thousands of dollars. 👀 Mos I'm about to save you thousands of dollars. 👀

Most online service providers should NOT be hiring a copywriter for their website.

I know — I'm a copywriter. I literally make money when people hire me to write their website copy. 😅 But I'm also someone who's watched dozens of online service providers spend $5K+ on beautiful, well-written copy... that became outdated within a year because their business kept evolving (as new businesses tend to do).

Here's what nobody in my industry talks about: writing your own website copy isn't just the cheaper option. For most of you, it's the better one.

You sit down to write your about page and realize you don't actually know how long it should be, what calls to action belong where, or how many service pages you need.

Those aren't writing problems. They're decision problems. Outsourcing them to a stranger doesn't solve them — it just means someone else is making your business decisions with way less context than you have.

When you DIY your copy with a real framework, you walk away with words that sound like you, market research that sharpens every part of your business, and the skills to update everything as you grow.

(That's a return that compounds. Hiring someone to write a one-time draft doesn't.)

Save this for the next time someone tells you to invest $5K in your website before you're ready.

Want the full breakdown — what hiring actually costs, who SHOULD hire vs. DIY, the two scenarios where outsourcing is worth it? Comment DIY and I'll send you the link to the blog post. 🤍
This one's for everyone with a sales page that has This one's for everyone with a sales page that has a "Kind Words" section nobody reads.

(So, like, most of you.)

Listen — your clients said incredible things about you. The praise is real, the results are real, and the testimonials should be doing serious work for your business. But if they're sitting in a 6-paragraph italicized block at the bottom of your sales page? They're decoration. Not conversion.

I made you a save-and-do-on-Sunday checklist:

✅ Pull the most results-y line from each testimonial
✅ Make it the headline. Bigger font. Bolder. Loud.
✅ Trim the rest to 1-3 sentences max
✅ Bold the parts that hit your buyer's specific hesitations

That's the whole fix. Takes maybe 10 minutes per testimonial. Turns walls of unread praise into actual sales muscle.

(You can thank me later. Or send coffee. I accept both.)
